Praise God! It is an honor to see all the work God is doing in West Africa. In such a hard place to share and where Christians are very outnumbered God is growing His people. Still over 94% of the population is Muslim. But the Gospel is spreading and God is calling people to Himself. Thank you for all your prayers for the work God is doing here.

The past two weeks have been very full of weddings, ministry, traveling and about 105-degree heat every day. I had the pleasure of going to a friend’s wedding it was a wonderful celebration. Weddings often last three days and much goes on in that time. I love learning about how weddings are celebrated in other cultures there are so many beautiful things to it all. After the wedding a small team came, and we traveled to the south for conferences.

Galatians 3:27

“for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”

The pastor that came taught for three days at a pastor training happening in the South of the country. The training is three months and has pastors from all different West African countries. They are being trained before they are sent out to serve. During the conference two of the men came forward to be Baptized. At the same time the Pastor training was going on I got to join a women’s conference that was taking place to train the women in the foundational Biblical principles and discipleship. During the women’s conference 11 women came forward to be baptized. The woman leading and conference and I got to baptize them. It was a great honor to watch these women follow God in obedience to be baptized. One of the church leaders a Pastor and evangelist got to baptize his daughter. It was so wonderful to see God growing the Church family through these people and in this man’s family. I cannot share photos of all the baptisms for the protection of the believers. Please be in prayer for them, often after someone is baptized persecution becomes much heavier. Pray that God will strengthen these believers and help them to grow in faith and trust Him in all circumstances.

After the conferences we went to do ministry in four different villages. I love spending time with the people from the villages. In these villages many Gospel conversations happened and seeds were planted. I got to share the story of Ruth, part of my testimony and the Gospel. Please pray that God will water the seeds planted and people will believe and follow Jesus.

Please pray for the believers that are facing persecution. Pray that the Lord would strengthen them through this and bring other believers around them to support them. Pray for those that do not know Jesus that they would have dreams and visions and that God would open their eyes to see who Jesus truly is. Pray for the growing church to be unified and founded in the Word of God. Thank you all for praying.
