Thank you everyone for your prayers, continued encouragement and support. The past two weeks have been wonderful as it has been the beginning of the school year at the BCA school here in Malawi. I’m excited to share with you how God is using BCA to reach these students for the gospel. I praise God for all that he is doing and I’m so blessed and grateful to be used by him.

Bethlehem Christian Academy in Malawi now has four grades. Kindergarten through third grade, with 25 kids in each class so this year they have a total of 100 students. Every year a BCA school adds the next grade until we have a complete school. I have had the wonderful opportunity of getting to teach Bible knowledge to all the students at the school. It has been so fulfilling this week teaching the kindergartners to memorize Genesis 1:1. The first graders, we have been going over the days of creation and what God created on each day. We’ve been discussing and learning the difference between human beings and animals, and how we are made in the image of God. Second grade we have been discussing what it is to be in a family and our roles in our family along with our church family. We talked about the first family that God made Adam and Eve. We then talked about the family that Jesus had on earth. Third grade we have been learning about the call of Noah and why God called Noah and what God called Noah to do along with the call of Abraham and how Abraham was called to be the father of many nations that would be a blessing to all people including us today. It’s been a great honor for me to get to teach these classes and get to spend so much time with these BCA students.

This picture above just makes me smile every time I see it. This was during recess this week. I heard some of the BCA students singing some worship songs. So I go over to find them having a whole worship session together. using an old water bottle as a microphone, a piece of wood as their guitar and a broken bucket as the drum. I listened to them worship God and I just thought how pleased God is listening to them praise him and how much he loves to hear little children praise him. This is only made possible through sponsors. The students at the school have to be sponsored in order to attend. When you sponsor a child, you not only give them a uniform, food every day, and an education, but you give them the opportunity to learn who Jesus Christ is and worship Him. Every new school year there is a new set of students in need of sponsorship and all of the kindergarten class and some of the students at the school still need sponsors. I have one of my sponsored children at this school, and I love getting to teach him and see him grow in his knowledge of who God is. It is an honor and a privilege to be used by God. Here is the link below for those that want to sponsor a child. I can think of no better way to spend the money God has given us then to help support the kingdom of God grow around the world and the Gospel be shared. https://account.bcaministries.com/sponsorships?location=malawi

When I’m not at the BCA school, I am often at one of our TNI partner churches. I’ve had the privilege of visiting many of the partners that we have throughout Malawi in the refugee camp. It has been wonderful to get to join our brothers and sisters worshiping the Lord and studying his word together. It continues to open my eyes to see how big of a God we serve when I get the opportunity to worship him in other languages with other people from all over the world. Our God is not confined to the places we are from, but he is the God of the whole world. I can say that and believe that, but it becomes real to get to see it and experience it with your brothers and sisters in Christ. I praise God for these opportunities and pray that we continue to grow in our partnerships of believers throughout the world that we might support love and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Worshipping together with so many churches has been such a sweet blessing. Hearing the children’s choirs praise God is so special. Though I don’t know the words I enjoy trying to join in the worship. I have also had the privilege of leading some devotionals and sharing the Word of God with others. Most of the time I am told when I need to be prepared to share something but a few times I was called on to share was not expecting it. God worked everything out in those times. I happen to have a lesson prepared in my bag and was able to use it. It reminded me that we should always be ready to share the true of the Word of God.

Psalm 95:1-2
“Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.”

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and for reading the blog updates. Please continue to pray for the TNI church family and the provisions, growth of the church and spreading of the gospel. Please pray for people to sponsor the children that still need someone to support them going to a BCA school. Thank you for your prayers, continue to pray and join in what God is doing.
