Beginning Again

Thank you to everyone for the prayers and encouragement over the time I have been back in the States. I have enjoyed the opportunity to speak with many connection groups and shared with churches about what God has been doing in West Africa this past year.

Here are some of the things I was able to share with many people during my visit.

The highlights from ministry this past year:

• I had the opportunity to work on learning language and culture.
• Join Mission teams and serve along the nine teams that came to West Africa this past year.
• Traveled to all six Bethlehem Christian Academy schools in West Africa and did reports.
• One of my favorite ways to serve, is village ministry. I love building relationships. I enjoy continuing to get to know the people.
• I visited many house churches and met many pastors. Their stories of persecutions and their faith and perseverance continue to inspire.  
• Leading the women’s conference was an amazing experience and a great honor.
• There were four Pastor training’s that took place last year. This has been a great blessing to the church. God continues to grow the believers.
• I served on my first medical mission team this past year and over 100 people were treated that week.
• The Youth Camp was a great time. Many young people learned God’s story, from creation to Jesus coming back again.
• Kids Club went to many villages and shared different Bible stories reaching the next generations with the Gospel.
• Praise God for all He is doing and has done! I am looking forward to get to be a small part of what He is doing in West Africa.

Thank you so much to everyone. Your donations provided the Bibles needed in the many different house churches throughout the country. Many were bought and are being distributed to the people. Please continue to pray for the believers. Also, pray for the church leaders as they work to share the Gospel in many villages.

Soon, I will return to West Africa. I will then start my second year of service with The Nations Initiative. I am looking forward to what God has in store. There is much planned for the year. TNI plans to send me to serve in other locations where there is a ministry need. Stay tuned for updates. I will share throughout the year what God is doing and how you can join in the work.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

Please be in prayer for me as I return that I would work only to serve the Lord and not man. Pray for the people who will be served by the many teams coming this year. Pray that their hearts would be open to the Gospel.
