Praise the Lord for He is good! No matter what we go through in life God promises to be with us. I am grateful for this more and more every day. No matter what is happening in the world, God is in control despite the chaos that seems to be all around us. We shall not be afraid. In the midst of the unknown God makes Himself known to us. Thank you to everyone who has been in prayer for the work that is happening here. Prayer is very important; we can accomplish nothing for the Kingdom of God without it.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

It was wonderful to celebrate the BCA kindergarten graduation and closing of the school year celebration. All the students worked very hard and did a great job this school year. The BCA staff do a fantastic job serving God through the work of teaching and pouring into the students. At the celebration the students performed the songs they had learned for their family’s. We played games with the students and had dance competitions. After lunch, the head of the school gave a speech. Following that, each student received an operation Christmas child box from Samaritans Purse. This was particularly special for me. Throughout my childhood, my Dad would take my sisters and I to fill operation Christmas child boxes. Being on the other end and handing them out was a big blessing for me.

Friends that become family are one of the sweetest things in life. Having the privilege of traveling to a nearby nation and attending a good friend’s wedding was so sweet. Also, I found it so funny that she married a man from the same state I am from. God bless this happy couple. I can’t wait to see all God does through them.

A team came to serve and share the Gospel in different villages. I had the privilege of joining the team. In one village, after we had helped the women with lunch, we did coloring books with the children. The men began sharing. Sometimes the women listen to their conversations. I just sit quietly and pray for what they are sharing. This time, the women were distracted by their lovely children. So, the women on the team decided to go over and share with them. One of the women from the team shared the Bible story about the women at the well. After she finished sharing, I felt the Lord leading me to piggyback on what she said by sharing my testimony. I started to share my testimony and felt lead to go through the Gospel then finish my testimony. It was an honor to get to share. This is the reason I came to West Africa. It is what all Christians are called to share. Please be in prayer for the people in the villages that got to hear about Jesus. Pray that they will have dreams and visions about Jesus. Pray also that believers in the area will continue to share with them. Pray for their salvation!

I had the opportunity to travel to the location where one of the BCA schools is held. Even though school is on summer break ministry never stops. The church by the school had a youth conference and worship concert. The youth were taught the Word of God in many long sessions. I had the pleasure of sharing with the youth from John 14: 15-21. I spoke about the promise of the Holy Spirit as a Helper. The day concluded with an outdoor worship concert. This day God also brought the first rain of the season to this area! Which we prayed for one day earlier in a prayer meeting. Praise the Lord!

Please be in prayer for the upcoming team that is coming to serve at a youth camp. Pray for strength and zeal for the team here in West Africa. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Thank you all for the prayers for me with language. I am excited to share that I have memorized John 3:16 in the language I have been learning. Please continue to pray that I advance in language and have many opportunities to share the Gospel.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
