Sharing Hope

Praise God for all He is doing in West Africa! Thank you to everyone that has been praying for me and what God is doing here.

This past week, we had the opportunity to share the Hope film in a village. Canaan Baptist Church has been doing ministry with this village for over 12 years. A team of Christians in West Africa diligently translated the film. They worked for three years to put it into the language of the people in this village. The Hope film tells the story of the Bible and shares the Gospel. Please pray for the people in this village. Pray that many conversations about Jesus come from this film. Pray that the truth of who Jesus is becomes known.

Praise God for the believers in West Africa that are serving Him diligently. This is only some of the team that we work with in West Africa. Many of the people in this photo serve in many different ways. They help in church planting, teach at Bethlehem Christian Academy (BCA), translate for missions’ teams. They volunteer their time and resources to help further the Gospel.

This past week I spent at the mission house in the village where we shared the Hope film. One way we served this week was painting the mission house. When teams come to serve in West Africa this is one of the places that teams have stayed. Right in the village, where people can continue to build relationships. These relationships lead to sharing God’s love. It all starts with just loving the people.

After painting the mission house, we got the opportunity to paint the Chief of the village’s house. The team painted the living room and bedroom of the Chief and the windows and doors.

Meet Francois, one of the many people that are serving to further the Kingdom of God. Francois has lived at the mission house ever since it was completed in 2022. His role consists of many tasks. He manages maintenance projects at the different builds BCA has. His also serves by cooking, cleaning, painting, and preparing for teams to come and much more.

Jesus changed Francois’ life forever back in 2002. He was very sick and about to die. A friend told him about Jesus. His friend’s pastor came to pray for him, and he was healed! Immediately he gave his life to Jesus and has been going to church and serving Jesus ever since.

Francois asked for prayers that God will continue to use him for His kingdom and bless him through his work. Also, prayers for himself and future family.
