This is a photo of one of the new Bethlehem Christian Academy’s (BCA) in West Africa. They started their first year of school in October 2024.
Thank you all for the prayers for my travels. Praise God, I arrived safely in West Africa late Saturday night. I have begun settling into the place I will call home for the next two years.

My week started with setting up the place I am living and beginning to adjust to life here. I have begun learning the local language and am very excited about all that I am learning. Three days this week I got to spend at one of BCA’s schools. I got to meet the teachers and students. The teachers are dedicated to providing a good education and keeping Jesus at the center.

I had the privilege of sharing a Bible story with the 1st grade class on Thursday. My translator, Edna, helped me. Almost all of the students that attend this school are Muslim. There only access to the Gospel and to learn about Jesus comes from the school.

Here is a photo of the 1st grade class in their new uniforms and their teacher Albert. Albert and his wife Reine run the school. She teaches the PK and kindergarten class with the help of her assistant.

The kindergarten class learning to write their names.

Please be in prayer as I continue to settle in and learn the language. Also pray for the students at this BCA. Pray that they would come to know Jesus. Pray that the Gospel would spread to their families and communities.
